NFL Odds: Week 14 – Pittsburgh Steelers vs Buffalo Bills

nfl odds

NFL Odds Sunday Night Football – Thirteen weeks down, four to go and the NFL is heading to its final stretch. The Buffalo Bills will host Sunday Night Football to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers’ undefeated streak ended as the Washington Football Team handed them their first loss of the season on Week 13.

The Bills, meanwhile, handily beat the San Francisco 49ers to improve their record to 9-3 on the year. With all that said, the Steelers and Bills each have a chance to clinch a playoff berth to join the Chiefs by the end of Sunday night.

NFL Odds and Verdict: Bills Silence Steelers

For Sunday’s exciting matchup, I picked out my team on who’s going to win between Pittsburgh and Buffalo. I choose the Bills to hand the Steelers their second loss in as many weeks.

Josh Allen will definitely be a nightmare against a Steelers secondary that boasts one of the best defensive units in the NFL. Pittsburgh’s defense needs to find a game plan in slowing down Allen to avoid another loss on their record.

Josh Allen had another virtuoso performance versus the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. Allen threw for 375 yards and made 4 touchdown passes to add to his already impressive breakout season so far.

Allen is known for having great patience in buying enough time to evade the blitz and throw a great pass to any open receiver for big first down yardage. The Steelers defense, however, are tops in the NFL in passing yards allowed and this presents quite a challenge for Allen to rise above it.

Should Pittsburgh try to tackle Allen at the last possible moment, Allen must get rid of his passes sooner rather than later to not allow them to get within a few feet to have them altered.

I surely expect this is not the only strategy Allen will use against the Steelers head on. Allen will deceptively use his run game to put pressure on Pittsburgh’s secondary to slow down his explosive motor. This is another unique skill Allen can use which he have to carefully use it against Pittsburgh.
